A notes-to-quiz AI tool takes material you already have (typed notes, a photo of a textbook page, a lecture recording, a PDF) and generates questions from it. The good ones stay close to your source; the weak ones drift into generic trivia about the topic. The difference matters more than the feature list, because a question about something your professor never mentioned is a question you gain nothing from answering.

Why generate quizzes instead of rereading

Source fidelity is the one people underrate. Ask a general-purpose chatbot to quiz you on photosynthesis and it will produce reasonable photosynthesis questions, but they will reflect what the model knows about photosynthesis, not what your instructor emphasized.
