Frequently Asked Questions

How do I turn a note into a lesson?

Tap New Note and add your material by typing it, dictating it, or picking a photo of a page — Qora reads the text out of the photo for you. Qora then breaks it into sections and builds a lesson path with quizzes at the end of each section.

Which devices are supported?

On iPhone and iPad, Qora requires iOS 17.0 or later. On Android, it requires Android 7.0 or later.

Does Qora need internet to work?

Yes, for generating lessons, quizzes, summaries and chat answers — those run on our servers. Reading your notes, taking text from a photo, and dictating a voice note all work on your device. Lessons you have already generated stay readable offline.

Is my data private?

There is no account, and your notes, lessons and progress are stored on your device — we keep no copy. The app does not read Apple's advertising identifier and never shows a tracking prompt; the only thing measured is which advertising campaign an install came from, using milestone events that carry no note content. The text you submit for a lesson or quiz is sent to our AI provider to generate the answer, and its content is not stored in our logs. Photo text recognition and voice transcription happen entirely on your device. The full breakdown is in our Privacy Policy.

Why is a quiz answer wrong or odd?

Lessons and quizzes are generated by an AI model, so they can be inaccurate. Always check anything important against your own source material. If a lesson comes out badly, delete it and generate it again — a cleaner or longer note usually gives a better result.

How do I back up my notes?

Notes are stored locally on your device and are included in your phone's own backup — iCloud or a computer backup on iPhone, Google backup on Android. Restoring your device from a backup restores your notes. There is no cloud sync between devices.

How do I manage or cancel Qora Pro?

Qora Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed by your app store. On iPhone, open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Qora. On Android, open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, and choose Qora. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Full terms are in our Terms of Use.

I paid but Pro is not active

Open Settings inside Qora and tap Restore, making sure you are signed in with the same account used for the purchase — your Apple Account on iPhone, your Google account on Android. If it still does not unlock, email us and we will sort it out.

Can I get a refund?

All purchases are processed by the app store you bought from. If you purchased on iPhone, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. If you purchased on Android, request the refund from your Google Play order history.
