1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Qora ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. License

Qora grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

3. Description of Service

Qora is a note-taking application with on-device AI capabilities. The App allows you to:

Create, edit, organize, and search notes
Chat with AI using local language models on your device
Summarize notes using on-device AI
Optionally connect to OpenAI using your own API key

4. AI-Generated Content

The AI features in Qora use local language models to generate responses. AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it. Qora is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind.

5. User Content

All notes, folders, and data you create within the App are stored locally on your device. You retain full ownership of your content. We do not access, collect, or store your content on any server.

6. OpenAI Integration

If you choose to use the optional OpenAI integration, you are responsible for:

Providing your own valid OpenAI API key
Any costs incurred through OpenAI's API usage
Complying with OpenAI's Terms of Use and Usage Policies

We are not responsible for any charges, data processing, or service issues related to OpenAI.

7. Purchases and Refunds

Qora is available as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support directly.

8. Device Requirements

Local AI features require sufficient device storage and processing power. AI model performance may vary depending on your device model. The App requires iOS 17.0 or later.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App
Attempt to extract the bundled AI models from the App

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
